Payment Options

The Council offers the facility to pay your Rates, Dog Registration Renewals and General Tax Invoices via this website. You will require a valid credit card to be able to process payments.


 

Dog Registration Renewals

Pay by Cash/Cheque/EFTPOS

You may choose to pay by cash, cheque, money order or EFTPOS at either of our offices located at :

  • 32 Railway Terrace, Cummins; or
  • 38 Washington Street, Port Lincoln.

Although the Port Lincoln Office has restricted hours, both Offices are open daily

 

Pay Online

You will require a copy of the notice sent to you, advising you to renew the registration of your companion animal. A new registration disc is distributed with your notice and becomes valid on payment. Our Dog Registration Page contains more information.

Tax Invoice Payments

Pay by Cash/Cheque/EFTPOS

You may choose to pay by cash, cheque, money order or EFTPOS at either of our offices located at :

Pay Online

When paying your tax invoice account you only need your Account Number. Alternatively you can pay for a single invoice by also entering in the invoice number.

Rates Payments

All ratepayers are given the opportunity to either :

  • Pay rates in full (and if paid by the due date, receive a 2% discount); or
  • Pay rates in quarterly instalments.

Notices are sent to ratepayers at least 30 days prior to the due date for payment.

Please check due dates carefully.

Pay Online

You will require a copy of your rates notice to be able to pay the account. Please be aware that the Local Government Act 1999 outlines penalties that apply for late payment.

PAY YOUR RATES

 

BPay

You may choose to pay via the BPay facility, which is available through telephone or internet banking.

If you wish to use this option and have not done so before, you may need to telephone your bank to set up use of this facility.

Credit card facilities via BPay are available.

POST Billpay

  • In Person: pay your rate notice at any Post Office
  • Phone: Phone 131816 anytime to pay with Mastercard or Visa
