Community update regarding Council operations due to COVID-19.

Community update - As at 1 April 2022

Council's Cummins Office and Port Lincoln Branch Office are still open to the public, however we ask that people maintain good hygiene practices, engage in social distancing, and wear a face mask.

Public toilets will remain open and continue to be cleaned in line with normal cleaning schedules. Council Waste Transfer Stations and kerbside collections will also operate as normal.

Council will continue to monitor the advice of the State Authorities and will update the community on any changes to Council operations via our Facebook page and website as they occur.

Small Business

The State Government have created a website specifically for small business that provides information on financial support available, webinars and training opportunities, advice on complying with restrictions and a range of Q&A’s for business – Visit https://business.sa.gov.au/

COVID Plans

Businesses and community groups may be required to have a COVID-Safe Plan. Please visit the SA Health website for more information on what organisations this applies to.

To complete the plan, consider how many rooms your facility has and the measurements of your indoor and outdoor spaces handy and visit: https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/recovery. Guidance on what constitutes a ‘room’ or ‘enclosed area’ is the same as that outlined in the Tobacco and E-Cigarette Products Act 1997 (refer to the guidelines here).

The COVID-19 situation is continually changing and we encourage all residents to check our website or Facebook page for any changes to Council services or opening of facilities.
