Community Event Guidelines
District Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula encourages local community groups and event organisers to submit their events for promotion to the community.
You are welcome to submit your community activity if it:
- - occurs within the District Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula council area
- - is open to the public
- - is socially inclusive.
The application may be refused if it:
- - conflicts with the Council’s values, policies and statutory responsibilities
- - promotes specific religious or political activities
- - has a governance focus eg member or board meetings
- - the information is incomplete
- - is offensive or abusive
- - is promoting a business or commercial enterprise
- - promotes private activities eg garage sales
- - is held outside of the District Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula region.
- - District Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula reserves the right to edit, decline or remove listings at its discretion
Application procedure
- - All requests for display of Community Events should be submitted using the below application form
- - Applications must be received at least two weeks before the start date of the activity.
