Grants - Community and Council
Where do I find a grant?
Don’t leave finding your grant opportunity to luck. You can manage this process by talking with Council’s Grants and Community Development Officer, keeping an eye on Council’s Facebook page or look at the handful of websites that list grant opportunities.

Grant Finder
Regional Development Australia Eyre Peninsula has a free grant and funding platform which is available to all local businesses, community groups, not-for-profit organisations, and individuals. You won’t miss a grant opportunity again – simply register by clicking on the button below and you can receive email alerts for grants as they open and get hints and tips to help you apply.
The following websites are also helpful tools in finding the right grant opportunity for your project.
- Grant SA - website for project funding for not-for-profit community organisations to improve community participation, wellbeing, and quality of life for people living and working in South Australia.
- GrantConnect - database of forecast and current Australian Government grant opportunities
- Community Grants Hub - Australian Government grants hub
- Business Grants & Programs finders - Australian Government grants for business/industry
There are also subscription services which will alert you about grant opportunities from Federal and State Governments as well as philanthropic and non-Government organisations. These come with an annual fee but are useful if you have a large project or need several grants for multiple projects, or stages of projects over an extended period.
