The Council offers the facility to pay your Rates and General Tax Invoices via this website. You will require a valid credit card to be able to process payments.

Rates

All ratepayers are given the opportunity to either:

• Pay rates in full; or
• Pay rates in quarterly installments.

Notices are sent to ratepayers at least 30 days prior to the due date for payment. Please check due dates carefully.

Pay by Cash/ Cheque/ EFTPOS

You may choose to pay by cash, cheque, money order or EFTPOS at either of our offices located at :

• 32 Railway Terrace, Cummins; or
• 38 Washington Street, Port Lincoln.

Although the Port Lincoln Office has restricted hours, both offices are open daily.

Pay online

You will require a copy of your rates notice to be able to pay the account. Please be aware that the Local Government Act 1999 outlines penalties that apply for late payment.

BPay

You may choose to pay via the BPay facility, which is available through telephone or internet banking.

If you wish to use this option and have not done so before, you may need to telephone your bank to set up use of this facility.

Credit card facilities via BPay are available.

Register to receive your rates notice via email

You can now choose to receive your annual and quarterly rate notices via email.
Receiving your rates notice electronically will make it easier and more convenient for you to manage your accounts, save paper and reduce waste. You'll have your notice accessible on any electronic device (phone,  tablet, laptop or desktop) and at your fingertips whenever you are ready to pay your rates; anytime, anywhere, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Change of Address

If you have changed your address, please notify Council immediately by emailing mail@dclep.sa.gov.au

When paying your tax invoice account you only need your Account Number. Alternatively you can pay for a single invoice by also entering in the invoice number.
