Cummins Township Master Plan
Planning consultants Holmes Dyer and Council undertook a Master Planning exercise which aimed to identify opportunities and constraints for key areas in Cummins including:
- Open space;
- Housing;
- Cummins Institute, community and tourism infrastructure;
- Main street enhancements and rail corridor; and
- Road, traffic and infrastructure upgrades.
Following the first stage of consultation in October 2022, feedback was collated and reviewed to inform the actions and recommendations set out in the Master Plan and Implementation Strategy. The purpose of the second stage of consultation was to raise community awareness of the proposed draft Master Plan initiatives, actions and recommendations and encourage feedback from the community on the priorities, timeline and types of identified outcomes.
